Recover 3D printing that apparently was going to waste

Date: 2015-12-11 17:01:29

The printer was printing a part and the print time was going to 96%
The printer was turned off almost at the end of printing
And throwing the part away would be annoying! It was then that I thought about following a client's suggestion.

So how to recover the printout?

Change gcode settings. I measured the height of the piece glued to the table, without moving anything. I opened gcode with notepad and deleted everything that had been done so far in order to start printing where it left off. Irecorded the commands as gcode and had it printed.
The piece is finished! It was a happy ending!

Below is a printscreen of the part that remains from layer 0 and the next part that was glued, in this case from layer 84.
