LOCTITE® HY 4070 is a two-component hybrid adhesive that provides rapid fixation, at room temperature, in joints with gaps of up to 5 mm.

Offers excellent adhesion characteristics to a wide variety of substrates, including some plastics, rubbers and metals.

It is designed for applications where excess adhesive is required to cure and is also temperature and humidity resistant.

The best application results are obtained with the LOCTITE® 10 ml mixing nozzle for hybrids and cyanoacrylates (suitable for HY 4070 and 3090).

Includes 4 spiral mouthpieces to correctly mix the two components.

Application mode:

Ideally, several pieces should be glued at the same time so that the mouthpieces are put to good use. After use, the glue dries inside the mouthpiece, making reuse impossible;

Before gluing, you must remove a small amount of glue, about 5mm, to make sure that the mixture between the two components is well done;

Once opened, it should be stored in the refrigerator for greater durability;

In the case of PLA and PLA Plus, the surfaces that receive glue are subject to heating of the material, which means that the glue and PLA stick together well, however it is necessary to dose the amount of glue well so that they do not melt too much.

If the fingers are stuck together to detach, the movement must be linear, moving the fingers in opposite directions and always together;

Ideal for gluing PLA, ABS, PETG, PC, Aluminum, iron, PVC, TPU among other materials.
