PETG RepRap PT - 1.75mm 500g - Glow in the Dark - Pink

PETG Characteristics:

• PET (the material used in water bottles), with the addition of Glycol;
• Adheres well between layers;
• Resistant to chemicals;
• Resistant to fresh and salt water;
• Lighter than PLA;
• BPA and styrene free;
• Excellent tenacity
• May be in contact with food;
• Ideal for parts that will be subjected to heat of up to 70ºC. For example, equipment intended for inside the car on hot days, or that has to be transported and left in the heat;
• The translucent filaments allow light to pass through. For example, they are ideal for printing light bulbs, with the “vase mode” option. In this last example, we recommend printing with a 0.6mm nozzle for greater resistance.

Temperatures and printing suggestions:

• nozzle: 230º - 245º (240º)
• bed: 60º - 90º (70º)
• Fan: 30% - 50% 
• 5 top layers

Printer maintenance:

 After printing with PETG and if you will change the filament for another one with lower temperatures, such as PLA, we suggest that you preheat the printer to the PETG or ABS temperature and then insert the filament.The objective is for the transition of materials to be made within the extruder. This process prevents clogging in any transition of filament types.

2. Spool Dimensions 200X80 (increasingly rare due to its width) :

• d1 Spool outer diameter Ø: 200mm
• d3 Spool inner diameter Ø: 50.5mm
• L1 Spool width: 80mm
• Empty spool Weight: ± 287g
